Hey guys. This is Bob at Rebel Crusher. It is another beautiful Carolina day, sun shining. Today we’re gonna be taking some questions. We’re looking at your e-mails. You guys have some great questions and relating to the Rebel Crusher I’m going to be taking a question today from looks like Ed in Chicago.

Ed’s question is, can you explain why I would consider buying a machine instead of just renting a machine?

Well, that’s a great question and we hear that you know every day. Why should I buy a crusher, right? Or why should I buy any machine for that matter? And the simple answer is that rental is typically a short-term option, right? I mean you know if you think you’re never going to crush again or you’re never gonna use the machine again you know why buy one? And you know we’d be the first people to tell you that it doesn’t make sense to buy something if it’s just a onetime deal. And you know if you’re going to you know look at let’s say a small job in downtown Chicago and you know and you’re willing to spend because most crushers will rent for let’s say $25,000 a month if the job justifies that I’d say go ahead and rent it you know for that one job. If you’re never going to crush again, you’re never going to do any screening then you know I’d say rent, definitely. But if you’re in the concrete business let’s say you’re a demolition contractor you know I don’t have a lot information on you, I’m just looking at one question but once I know your background you know we’re going to look at different things like, are you ever going to deal with concrete again? You’re getting concrete with rebar, you tear a building down, bricks, asphalt; are you pulling up sidewalk, curb, gutter? I mean are these products that you’re handling all the time? If the answer is, yes, then we definitely need to look at ownership. I mean you’d save yourself thousands and thousands of dollars. I mean it’s kind of like the concept of you know leasing your car versus buying your car, most people you know if you look at it over time it’s much more expensive to give the car back every three years, same thing with your home, same concept. You don’t typically rent your home you know you buy it.

So, with the crusher it’s a mathematical formula. We would look at the amount of usage you think you’re going to do per year, per month and then we just look at the exorbitant costs of renting – crushers are some of the most expensive machines to rent. Typically, you’re making the dealer very wealthy and very happy by doing any kind of rental. You can imagine $25,000 a month that adds up very quickly. Most guys are getting into a crusher no matter what it is. I mean the Rebel is definitely the best value that’s out there significantly less than $10,000 a month. If the average rent is $25,000 thousand a month you can see the justification for ownership.

So, hope that answers your question and you know please keep them coming and do me a favor call in and we’ll have a salesperson you know walk you through your particular situation to make sure we’re answering that question properly. Thank you very much.

This is Rebel Crusher Q and A. I’m Bob. And today we’re gonna be taking questions whether you call in or e-mail regarding your needs whether you’re processing concrete, asphalt, rocks. Basically, we’re here to answer any of your questions and it looks like we have an e-mail today from Rick in New York and Rick’s e-mail says, how much money could I make or save if I’m recycling concrete?

So, Rick, great question. It does have a lot to do with where you’re located. So, you know I would look at the New York rates for what crushed concrete is selling for. Possibly as a barometer you’d look at the price of crushed stone in your area and that would give you a general idea what you can expect to make if you’re crushing concrete. In general, we want to make sure you’re making the right products, right? Because it doesn’t do any good to make the wrong product whether it’s fast or slow. So, we want to make sure we’re making the product that’s in demand. So, once we’re doing that then typically I mean just give you a nationwide average; average clients let’s say run in the Rebel Crusher are going to generate $500 to $1,000 an hour. Okay. So, you figure on the low end $500 an hour, 8-hour day; $,4,000 a day, 5 days a week, $20,000 a week, okay? So, it’s obviously a license to steal. Now, yes, there are definitely considerations that go beyond just the gross profit, gross number, right? You want to look at you know what are all your costs? But at the end of the day the costs are significantly less than $,4,000 a day. Typically, the number one costs to run the Rebel is fuel. It costs you about $21 an hour. If you’re grossing 500 plus an hour you know it really doesn’t make that much of a difference. Yes, you can look at all the other factors, you know your labor costs, the loader that’s feeding it, your monthly payment but it’s so healthy, so profitable that you really don’t have to focus on that as much as you have to focus on where am I getting the material from and basically you know where is my market? Who am I going to sell it to?

So, but if you have those things lined up, you can use the broad strokes around $4,000 $5,000 a day gross and you know that would answer your question, how much money can I make? As far as saving money I’d be looking at your landfill costs, how much is it costing you to haul away? Your trucking fees. These are all things that factor in and basically that’s gravy for you. You know your potential savings okay is just gravy on what you’re actually going to sell the material for.

So, we do want to look at you in particular, so call us, e-mail us so that you know we can dive into your particular situation and hone in on you know is the Rebel the right machine for you. But I mean we’ve got them all over New York and everybody in the New York area is making money with it. They’re very happy. So, it’s probably the perfect machine for you. But give us a call. Great question. Look forward to hear from you. Thanks Rick.

RR Equipment SE 13 2016 Rebel Crusher Edit

Rebel Crusher
Tackles Variety
of Projects
The Rebel Crusher, manufactured by R.R.
Equipment Company, can tackle crushing a large
variety of material, including concrete with and
without rebar, asphalt, brick, cinder block and nearly
anything that’s brittle. It produces beautiful finished
products that have a variety of applications in
the construction industry. The Rebel Crusher’s
motto is “turning concrete to cash.
“The Rebel Crusher can produce up to four individual
stock piles. Depending on the size of the
replaceable screens, the Rebel can produce, for
example, two to three-in. clean stone, clean 3/4 in.
and 3/8 in. minus pipe bedding all at the same time,”
said Bob Rossi, vice president and owner of R.R.
Equipment Company. “In addition, the Rebel can
remove any unwanted material, such as dirt, using
the pre-screener. Lastly, the self-cleaning magnet
can remove any unwanted metal, such as rebar, and
produce a pile of scrap steel.”
Due to the machine’s versatility and mobility, it
is already popular with contractors in North
Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These
contractors use the Rebel Crusher in conjunction
with their wheel loaders, excavators and various
other support equipment. R.R. Equipment
Company wanted to expand upon the company’s
success, and bring the Rebel Crusher to even more
contractors by teaming up with qualified distributors,
such as Carolina CAT.
“We thought that every business should have
one,” said Rossi. “Everybody that is currently operating
a Caterpillar could have a Rebel Crusher, and
it would cover 70 percent of their crushing and
screening needs. It’s a medium-sized system that
can be fed with just about any piece of Caterpillar
equipment, whether it’s an excavator, skid steer or
front end loader.”
“We felt that it would be an asset to have a company
like Carolina CAT as our distributor for its
ability to reach a variety of clients that may want to
rent, lease, finance or own. Both companies share a
similar ideology of integrity and providing excellent
service and support. We are both solution-oriented.”
Carolina CAT is now the official Rebel Crusher
distributor for North Carolina, South Carolina and
Tennessee.

Carolina Cat Demonstration

On May 10, 2016, Carolina CAT in Charlotte, NC held a demonstration for the Rebel Crusher. You can check out the article by clicking on the link below.

RR Equip Carolina Cat SE 11 2016 Rebel Crusher

We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as everyone else did!

Carolina CAT held a Rebel Crusher product demonstration event on May 10. Approximately 60 people from 25 area contractors attended the event.

The Rebel Crusher is able to produce a finished product. The machine has the ability to make up to four screened products at the same time. Rebel’s crushed material can be used in place of quarry crushed stone. Uses also include pipe bedding, driveway bibs, home garages, decorative stone and landscaping applications.

A large feed opening reduces material preparation time. The Rebel Crusher produces high quality products without excessive fines.

The Rebel Crusher has the ability to swap from a jaw crusher to an impact crusher or vice versa in a matter of hours. Pre-screen and finish screen ensures quality products are produced.

The Rebel Crusher can tackle many applications. It has the ability to pre-screen, crush and separate crushed material into four separate stock piles while removing rebar, wire and steel at the same time. The Rebel Crusher can track and crush without stopping. The Rebel can crush and screen asphalt, concrete with or without wire and rebar, brick, block, most rock, sand, clay, glass and more. The Rebel can track into the middle of a city and is inconspicuous. The unique discharge conveyor heights are deliberately lower to minimize dust production. The fuel efficient diesel engine is quiet and is able to power up to three additional conveyors.

Variable speed, low feed height, heavy duty feeder, features “mine duty” impact idlers with 4140 oversize steel shafts specifically designed to handle being continuously fed large chunks of material. When dumping, the feeder absorbs the shock load, producing very little dust and reduced noise. Having the feeder on an angle allows the loader operator to see what is in the Feeder/Hopper. No need to build a ramp or have a huge machine to feed the Rebel.
